Our analytics team in Chicago and Seattle is looking for an Analytics Manager to support and innovate on our online shopping or product experience (e.g., hotel, flight, loyalty, promotion areas) for such leading brands as Orbitz, Travelocity, and Wotif.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct large-scale exploratory analysis (a.k.a. deep dives) into major questions
  • Create forecasting time series models, predictive models, or segmentations in R or Python as part of larger analytic inquiries
  • Service basic analytic requests, which includes pulling from dashboards, ad-hoc analysis and trend examinations
  • Identify ways to increase efficiency and productivity
  • Develop strategies and analytic plans to investigate or discover materially relevant business issues or opportunities–be an internal consultant to the business

Job Requirements:

  • Experience with Web analytics preferred (e.g., Google Analytics or Omniture)
  • Exposure to analytics dashboards such Tableau, Omniture Discover/Workspace, or Qlikview
  • Experience with creating and applying a variety of statistical models (e.g., segmentation, regression, factor analysis, ARIMA, Random Forest, XG Boost)
  • Deep understanding of A/B testing
  • Experience with sourcing, cleaning, manipulating, and analyzing large volumes of data
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong consultative & relationship building skills with a proven track record of success

Qualification & Experience:

  • 2+ years of related-work experience
